I brought snow shoes and used them on some parts of the trail which were more heavily snow covered. The trail to sky pond after the 2nd lake was a bit hard to find but it is easy once it is found. Pretty nice views but definitely need at minimum hiking shoes/boots due to icy patches (10/17).
